The Greece Teachers are starting their fourth school year with an expired contract so the union organized this peaceful march in front of one of the high schools just before the superintendent held an Opening Day Ceremony. Hundreds of teachers participated in the march and it was actually a fun time, getting to see and say, "Hi" to many teacher friends. We all walked into the auditorium in mass and were all seated so the ceremony could start on time. There may be more opportunities during this school year to support the union as they try to negotiate with the district.
