Corey's Home!

Corey's back in town for the summer, the refrigerator is full and the living room is a mess! Back to the good, old days! Bob drove to SU yesterday to bring home his mentee and we are most appreciative. Thanks Bob!

One of the nice things about having Corey home is that he cooks! He likes to cook and tonight he made roasted, stuffed red peppers and a vegetable stromboli! It was all delicious and he says that he enjoys making dinner, because it gives him something to do in the afternoons. Hopefully when he starts working at Lock 32 next week he will still have time to make us dinner.

I was going to include a photo of all the roving that I bought at the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival, but the Blogger program that I use for my blog is not responding correctly tonight. So maybe I'll get the photo up another time.

Tomorrow night Jim and I are going to meet with the guy who did the Long Term Care workshop that I attended last week. We will go see what he has to say specific to our situation at this point in our lives. When we come home, Corey will have dinner ready!!

Corey got his tooth repaired this morning and now looks more normal and speaks without a lisp.

Got to get back to spinning. My bell rehearsal was cancelled tonight because several ringers were going to have to miss the rehearsal, so I have a free evening.

Hope all is well.

Home Again, Home Again

Sally and I had a good trip back to Rochester. We had planned to stop at the Outlet Shops at Gettysburg, PA, but we got there too early. So we continued into Gettysburg National Military Park, to discovered the new Visitor Center and museum had opened since Jim and I were there 3 weeks ago. The old Visitor Center and museum were looking very worn and were not worthy of historical significance of that area, so this new area is a welcome tribute to the history of our country. Sally and I did a quick walk-through of the museum and were impressed with what we saw. You may want to consider a summer trip to Gettysburg to see this new facility and refresh your knowledge of American History.

I believe that I now have my excitement about my win at the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival under control. And did I mention, "The Check??!!"

Corey's mentor, Bob, will be bringing Corey home from SU on Tuesday. We'll be glad to have him around for the summer.

Back to school tomorrow after a great weekend. Thank you Sally for being my travel companion. It was fun!

Hope all is well.
