We've been up to our usual weekday activities which are usually not blog-worthy. And that is the case today. But I wanted to let you know that we were alive and well so here is a short post.
We did have a couple days of spring-like weather and as I was picking up sticks in our yard I discovered some pretty yellow flowers were blooming on some ground-cover in the backyard. They put a smile on my face.
The rain has now moved in and we have a forecast for a gray, wet weekend.
Tonight I made Jim a dinner fit for a king, in his opinion~ English-style bacon from Oscars, 3 eggs over easy (which were cooked to perfection, if I do say so myself!!), and baked beans!! Now Jim thinks baked beans go with anything, but to him this was a particular taste treat. I made myself a baked potato with cheese and salsa on it. We were both quite happy with our dinners. Jim thought his dinner was blog-worthy so here is the photo:
Here are my Easter/Spring decorations.
I bought the small sheep at the JoAnn's last year and this year I found the big one at Pier I Imports. They are all made out of paper and are almost weightless. I think they are cute!
Time to tune into basketball. Be sure to cheer for Syracuse tomorrow night! I am in 3 different NCAA bracket pools and am a bottom-feeder in all of them! I am getting some good knitting time and tonight I will finish the main part of the baby blanket and will start the borders on it.
Hope all is well.

Baked beans with eggs. Hmmm. Maybe I'll give that a try...tell Jim to try a burger topped with a fried egg (and bacon, mayo lettuce and american cheese) after a long run. What an adventure for the taste buds!
Very cute sheep :)
Happy blogoversary!
